about christine nicklin-rivett
I am an experienced hair and make-up artist, working freelance in all fields, from film and television to fashion and theatre. Trained at The London College of Fashion and Greasepaint, I started as a junior make-up artist on the Carlton Television series LONDON BRIDGE and have since worked extensively on many shorts and feature films in both assisting and designer roles, including Head of Department. I have a real passion and enthusiasm for make-up and am very happy working on all types of projects, be it a music video, television, corporate film, a feature film or smaller scale ‘indie’ production and am happy to design or work as part of a team.
My work includes Head of Make-Up on THE WIZ at The Hackney Empire and the critically acclaimed STICKS & STONES at The Bridewell Theatre in London.
In film my work includes Make-Up Artist (dailies) on HARRY POTTER & THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE for Warner Bros. Hair and Make-Up Designer on LAST TRAIN and FATE & FORTUNE for Ascalon Films and Chief Hair and Make-Up Artist on THE JOURNEY for Eagles Dare Films and 5+One Productions, filmed in London and Greece.
I am also Department Head on the forthcoming Eagles Dare Films production of the World War 2 feature PEGASUS BRIDGE.
